Method 1 - Using Disk Management Console

Open Disk Management either by using Computer Management from the Administrative Tools folder, by using Server Manager (if this is a Windows Server 2008/R2 machine), or by typing diskmgmt.msc and pressing Enter, or in windows xp just rght click the My Computer and go to manage and select Disk Management.

Instruction:

To solve this issue, you must use Diskaprt.

Type: list disk

Type: attr disk clear readonly

Type: attr volume clear readonly

8. Display the volume details:

Type: detail disk

9. Display the volume details:

 Type: detail volume

Method 2 - Using Disk Management Console

I usually use an external USB drive to backup my files, documents,  scripts, pictures and other important data. Recently, I was using a Samsung 1TB external drive and I was moving it back and forth between several machines.  I was using a different computer (actually, it was a laptop) than the one I was regularly using at the time and something happened to my external USB drive.

Right-click > New didn't work. In fact, it was not even showing on the screen.
The Delete button on the keyboard didn't work; pressing it didn't do anything.

Files, folders, the entire disk seemed to be write protected, or read-only.

In order to investigate this, I looked at the volume properties in Windows Explorer. Nothing indicated that it was read-only. Nor did the folders or files within. My user was a member of the local administrators group, and these had Full Control. I also checked to see if there were no specific Deny permissions, and the answer was negative.

Looking at the ownership of the files and folders showed that it was not the problem. I was a local administrator, so there was no issue there:

Notice that there is no reference to the fact that the disk is read-only.

On the Security tab, also note that (in this case) the administrators group has Full Control permissions (my user is a member of that group), and that no individual deny permissions are assigned to any user or group.

However, if you do try to edit existing file or folder permissions you may get an error similar to this:

Unable to save permission changes on "XYZ".
The media is write protected.

In the Advanced > Ownership tab, note that (in this case) the administrators group has ownership (my user is a member of that group).

In order to further troubleshoot, I inserted the disk into a different computer, and behold, it worked like a charm. Inserting it back into this laptop caused it again to become read-only. Clearly, it wasn't an NTFS permissions issue, otherwise it would have been read-only on the other computer as well. But that was not the case.

How to replace the screen on Acer Aspire 5552G - 7464 step by step procedure

Acer Aspire 5552G

In  article tutorials I'm gonna teach you step by step on how to replace the LED-LCD screen of 15.6 inches Acer Aspire 5552G.

As you can see this laptop is brand new with windows 7 ultimate operating system, and the most important thing about this tutorials is the two screw at the bottom side of the screen and the rest is just a decoration.

Step 1:

prepare your 15.6 LED screen, and you gonna need a small flat head screw driver for pulling out the screw and long nose flier to hold the screw for instance.

First take the battery out from your laptop.

So the second step is you gonna remove the sticker and pull out the screw from the bottom side of the screen.

The third step is you gonna move all way around the cover of the screen and just undo the case or just put your finger nails underneath the cover and lift it until you heard a pupping sound, that sound is a good noise that means the cover are not breaking.

The next step is to remove the three screw from each edges of the screen, and this so easy to remove the screw in order for you to get in and this is the time to use your the long nose flier to pull up the screw.

The next step is you gonna need to take the screen off but you need to be careful for doing this procedure because the wire for the microphone and the camera are connected to the back of the screen, as you pull it make sure you do it slowly and just grab the wire.

Okay so now the screen is separated from the casing, as you can see to the picture below the red circle is the main signal cable, to remove that cable find the edge of the sticker so that it cant cause damage to the cable.

The final and the last step, Okay so we disconnect the screen from the laptop and its time to replace the old one to the new one.

Okay here is the new screen, I've set it down the same way face down so that the connector or the main cable is fit to the new one and that's it.

Just set it back in and ready the six screw to go back in and its done!

Next is put back the front cover and the last two screw, are your done.

This is how you to replace your screen!
